One of my dad’s hobbies was photography. He had cameras galore! And it’s probably no exaggeration to say he took and had millions of pictures throughout his lifetime. I admired everything my dad did, and was fascinated with his photographic skills. He was ever learning all the ropes. My older brother gave me a Nikon camera to “play” with many years ago. He and Dad taught me a lot. Now, over 30 years later, I’ve enrolled in a photography class so I can learn from the professional what I can do with a camera. Today’s trend is digital! My very gifted teacher is Michael. Lighting, the Rule of Thirds - all that terminology is crucial to great photography, but it’s going to take a while before it becomes “old hat” with me. Suggestions and subject materials are welcome! Can’t think of much else to write about this subject for now, so I’ll just share some of my photo work here… Photography: Third Passion
